William C. Cagle, USMC Retired

My grandfather and four of his brothers, all Cagles, served in the Pacific during World War II. My oldest son serves Cherokee County today as a firefighter, with 'Cagle' on his name tape. My middle son is finishing Officer Candidate School and will commission as a Second Lieutenant Cagle in the U.S. Marine Corps this summer. Even the first deputy killed in the line of duty in Cherokee County, honored at the courthouse, was a Cagle.

SERVICE IS INSTILLED IN MY BLOOD.

After graduating from Cherokee High School, I enlisted in the USMC. The Marines reinforced the values and steadfast leadership that have led me throughout my life.

Now, I am asking you to allow me to FIGHT for YOU and the community we call home.

NO RETREAT. NO SURRENDER.
