William C. Cagle, USMC
My grandfather and four of his brothers, all Cagles, served in the Pacific during World War II. My oldest son serves Cherokee County today as a firefighter, with 'Cagle' on his name tape. My middle son is finishing Officer Candidate School and will commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps this summer. Even the first deputy killed in the line of duty in Cherokee County, honored at the courthouse, was a Cagle.
SERVICE IS INSTILLED IN MY BLOOD.
After graduating from Cherokee High School, I enlisted in the USMC where I served until I was medically retired. I built a home, grew my small business, raised 4 children and continued my passion for volunteering with local youth and charitable organizations. This December I will be marrying my high school crush and we plan on growing old together in Cherokee County. My family and I are looking forward to what the futures holds for us and our community.
Now, I am asking you to allow me to FIGHT for YOU and the community we call home.
